Why the Name

Nakaka sexy, pero nakaka lower back injury.

This blog has come a LONG way.

What started as a just another hobby, a thought-dumpsite, at offthebench.multiply.com soon became KiliKiliShot.com before finally settling back into KiliKiliShot.BlogSpot.com

So why the name? Well, the author is/was a big fan of the great 90s basketball star Marlou Aquino of Ginebra fame, whose go-to/trademark move was a scoop shot that goes underneath his opponent's armpit, literally. The problem was, it was a very difficult (despite being silly-looking) move to pull off which is why the author went from dreaming about being a professional basketball player to one who writes about it when he's not busy with work.

Here we praise the worthy and ridicule the rest. Everything is done in good fun and should not be taken seriously or personally, though we do not joke about our basketball (only the players and some of the things they do on the court). We are not big on rumors, scandals or anything showbiz-related. Sorry to disappoint.

If you want to know about Philippine basketball and the players dominating the scene, please feel free to browse around. The author loves to interact, trade barbs and views, so you could always look for him on Twitter.
