Alaska getting Calvin Abueva (they have his college coach Topex Robinson on staff). Simon Atkins to Air 21 (Franz Pumaren). Jason Escueta to Talk 'n' Text (Norman Black).

9. Height is might  
Don't know if this will stick, but the first and second rounds' average height must be around the 6"3-6"4 area. A lot of wings and bigs there.

8. Petron has the best and worst hairstyles in the league
Yes to Alex Cabagnot's I don't know. Pony tail? No to Alex Mallari's bed hair.


7. Ginebra's going to hold a point guard tryout
After Mike Cortez and Jayjay Helterbrand, it's going to be fun to watch Ginebra practice with all the guards they brought in from the draft.

6. BMeg wants 'em big
With the exception of skinny-ass Aldrech Ramos, BMeg went shopping for bigs-- all raw but still over the 6"4 mark. Tim Cone et. al. must be suffering from Belga syndrome.

5. Erika Padilla is hot
The other girl is virginal and is liked mostly by boys. The other one is too much of a socialite. Erika Padilla is bold, brazen and just the kind of Filipina hotness I don't mind listening to during breaks.

3. Chris Tiu is safe... for now
People who think that Beau Belga will act as Tiu's bodyguard are right on. But that will only happen after their first scrimmage. Expect Tiu to be welcomed by his teammates-- hard. Jireh Ybanes, Ryan Arana, Beau Belga, Ronnie Matias and JayR Quinahan. Just to toughen him up of course.
