adidas teams up with Marvel's Avengers

This spring adidas will introduce a new collection of kids footwear and apparel inspired by three superheroes of the new blockbuster Marvel Studios film, Avengers: Age of Ultron, which hit theaters worldwide last April.

The adidas Avengers collection will feature exciting new designs reflecting the unique personalities of three of the film's superheroes: Hulk, Iron Man and Captain America. Both lines, which cover infants, little kids and youth boys alike, offer full head-to-toe outfits including tees, shorts and accompanying shoes and accessories with matching colours to ensure a wardrobe with fresh new looks for every true Avengers fan!

May's kids collection will be complemented by adult running shoes in four matching designs. The adult line includes a silver-green adidas adizero Prime BOOST™ that will be featured in the film with an exciting new Avengers character. For the biggest fans and a united look this colour-way will be a key feature within the kids' collections!

The new adidas Avengers collections go back to the classic roots with footwear inspired both by the original comics' style and the graphics of the movie. NBA All-Star Joakim Noah of the Chicago Bulls joins the adidas basketball roster which includes his Chicago Bulls teammate and 2011 NBA Most Valuable Player Derrick Rose along with three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year Dwight Howard of the Houston Rockets, 2013 NBA Rookie of the Year Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers and two-time NBA MVP and four-time NBA Champion Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs.

NBA MVP D Rose is coming back to Manila

Derrick Rose is coming (back) to Manila!
Chicago Bulls superstar Derrick Rose headlines the D Rose Tour, where the 2011 NBA Most Valuable Player visits Europe and returns to Asia for the third time. The latter includes a 3-day visit to Manila, Philippines from September 14-16. This marks the return of Rose since he last arrived in the country for a pair of exhibition games in July 2011.

Inspired by the exciting and attacking on-court play and smooth, understated off-court style of Derrick Rose, fans attending the tours will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet and have unique access to Derrick through a multitude of premium, exclusive events.

MANILA, Philippines — Coca-Cola Philippines recently reaffirmed its commitment to promote healthy and active living during the second year kick-off of the Coca-Cola PBA Youngstars Basketball League.

Coca-Cola PBA Youngstars is a nationwide grassroots program, which aims to reach out to more than 7,000 aspiring basketball stars aged 13 to 16 across different cities, provinces, and municipalities in the country.

“We have partnered with the Philippine Basketball Association for this program because leading an active healthy lifestyle has a positive impact on health and wellbeing, delivering a range of physical, mental and social benefits especially for young people,” says Atty. Adel Tamano, Vice-President for Public Affairs and Communications for Coca-Cola Philippines.
